Job Description

[What the role is]

NAC's Access & Community Engagement Department creates opportunities for everyone living in Singapore to have meaningful encounters with the arts as an integral part of their lives, contributing to building a connected society and a distinctive city. You will be part of the team advocating the value of the arts as well as developing strategies and fostering partnerships with corporate, government and social agencies for arts-based initiatives to thrive in the community.

Your role will include working on various initiatives such as ArtsEverywhere@CDC and Busking, to promote impactful programme design, drive capability development and research to extend reach of the arts.

[What you will be working on]

  • Build and nurture strategic partnerships to create new access points for arts engagement across all demographics, abilities and life stages. (E.g. ArtsEverywhere@CDC, Busking etc)
  • Fund and commission innovative community arts projects and ensure high standards of delivery and impact. (E.g. Arts & Wellbeing, Arts & Disability)
  • Promote adoption of programme design frameworks and toolkits that enable stakeholders and partners to develop effective arts programmes for social and wellbeing outcomes.
  • Administer NAC's grant schemes from application through to completion, including but not limited to comprehensive monitoring of funded projects and ensuring delivery of agreed outcomes.

[What we are looking for]

  • At least 2-3 years working experience preferably in partnership management, community engagement or arts administration.
  • Experience in planning, managing and evaluating project delivery from incpetion to completion.
  • Meticulous with data management and capable of basic analysis to inform strategic decisions.
  • Able to engage partners and stakeholders and provide quality advice and guidance.
  • Articulate and persuasive, able to write and communicate well.
  • Able to maintain professionalism when managing demanding and high-pressure situations.
