Description
At Esland, we provide trauma‑informed, therapeutic care for children aged 8 to 18, many of whom have encountered adverse childhood experiences and complex trauma. Our fantastic staff help them feel safe, understood, and able to build brighter futures.
Our solo home based in Nelson, Burnley, is seeking a full-time children’s support worker to complete our dedicated and highly valued team.
About the role:
- Supporting your young person with emotional regulation, daily routines, and personal development
- Keeping detailed records and promote safeguarding at all times
- Supporting your young person with fun activities, their personal interests, education access and engagement and household responsibilities
- A commitment to working 48-hour shifts, including sleep-ins (paid), followed by a 4 day break (we are a 365 service offering structured shifts, paid bank holidays and opportunities for overtime)
