Job Description
- Recognized and applies Clariant Life Savings Rules into all work and strives to make conditons better than found.
- Required to be on call and work night shift and weekends as scheduled/required.
- Uses Microsoft and basic computer skills to access CMMS, Training, Drawings, Etc.
- Requires lifting up to 50 lbs, carrying up to 25 lbs, and climb stairs/ladders up to 180 feet.
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical, instrumentation, and process control equipment in an industrial plant, including power distribution, motor controls, PLC’s, wiring and process controls, involving work of a varied nature with minimum supervision.
- Profivient knowledge and use of various test instruments such as calibration, diagnostics, and monitoring systems.
- Detailed knowledge of operation, maintenance, repair and calibration of chemical process industry instrumentation and controls (for level, flow, pressure, temperature, analysis, pneumatic actuated valves, control valves).
- Detailed knowledge of programmable logic control (PLC) systems and the ability to troubleshoot and maintain these systems.
- Detailed knowledge of the installation and maintenance of electrical supply and distribution systems (Motors, Drives, MCC, Transformers, Disconnects, wiring, lighting, etc.)
