Job Description
- Oversee maintenance team day-to-day activities when the maintenance lead is unavailable, including on-call duties.
- Plan, perform, and oversee electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs of systems including wiring, panels, circuits, motors, and equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute electrical installations and upgrades.
- Upgrade and modify existing electrical systems to improve performance or meet new requirements, including transitioning obsolete drives and devices.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems, instrumentation, and control devices, including Siemens PLC systems.
- Collaborate with the automation and digitalization leader to resolve control and communication errors.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on production equipment.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and uptime.
- Comply with all local regulations and Clariant safety, environmental, and operational policies.
- Actively participate in risk assessments and implement corrective actions to improve plant safety.
- Support technical documentation and adhere to Management of Change (MOC) processes.
- Collaborate with production operators and attend daily performance meetings to support operational goals.
- Complete SAMACO work orders, including Process Safety Management (PSM) and Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) activities.Maintain required job qualifications, certifications, and safety training
