Job Description
- Ensure 100% accuracy of raw materials, intermediates, packaging supplies, and finished goods.
- Post all raw material receipts (crude clay, sulfuric acid, MgO, etc.), packaging supply receipts, finished goods transfers to 3rd party warehouses or tollers, and bulk railcars and bulk truck shipments to customers in SAP.
- Facilitate, perform, and enter monthly, quarterly, and annually cycle counts for all site inventory including packaging supplies, raw material, intermediates, and finished goods. Reconcile and investigate any discrepancies during the month with records.
- Post disposal and reclaim activity in SAP for defective, or obsolete stock during the month. Ensure all activity has supporting records.
- Document approval from Clariant Finance team for all SAP inventory adjustments prior to making any adjustment transaction. Ensure 100% compliance with Clariant Guidelines.
- Optimize and continually improve SAP inventory management processes. Review all log sheet or digital reporting tools daily to accurately document all production activity in SAP each day.
- Ability to analyze inventory data, identify discrepancies, and make improvements.
