Client Service Specialist
Job Description
The Client Service Specialist will provide support and assistance to the Senior Account Executive. This includes preparing and processing financial services proposals/statements in a timely manner; management of client documentation and client inquiries; and maintaining client files and all related information in secure client database.
This role requires 4 days/week in office and will require some regional travel to visit clients.
The Client Service Specialist will:
Provide confidential support to the Senior Account Executive
Prepare Marketing, Renewal and New Business Proposals for the Senior Account Executive
Act as a main point of contact for client’s enquiries; responding to client questions and requests within one business day
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
Contributing to the team by sharing information, knowledge and personal strengths; and seeking to understand and build on differing perspectives of others to enhance team efficiency and quality outcomes.
Maintain financial services operations by following policies and procedures
Process confidential client information and maintaining client’s records accurately in database system (EPIC)
Prepare special reports as requested by Senior Account Executive
To be successful as a Client Service Specialist with People Corporation, you will need:
2+ years of financial services industry experience
A Mutual Funds license (not required but highly desired)
Highly developed time management skills with ability to prioritize/manage deadlines
The ability to work under pressure and take ownership of work
Exceptional communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including excellent knowledge of Excel
All-star candidates will have:
Mutual Funds License or willingness to obtain
Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation either studying or qualified
LLQP (Life License Qualification) in good standing/willingness to obtain
Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation either studying or qualified

The base salary for this position is between $70,000 - $85,000 annually.
This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). The actual base salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
