Your Role
Implementation, stabilization, development of manufacturing processes for the given product within product introduction projects, as well as their handover to production. As a technical expert, the process engineer participates in projects aimed at the standardization and further development of globally used manufacturing technologies, as well as in the implementation of new manufacturing technologies.
Your Responsibilities
- Collaboration in projects aimed at the introduction and development of products and manufacturing processes.
- Advising the development department on the feasibility and improvement of product design.
- Participation in the preparation of prototype production and process evaluation plans in cooperation with the project manager.
- Collaboration in defining requirements for the manufacturing process.
- Development of the manufacturing process for the given product.
- Contribution to the preparation of the process qualification plan.
- Execution of machine and process capability studies.
- Definition and documentation of process target parameters, as well as warning and intervention limits. Creation of SPC procedures or control plans for subsequent series production.
- Participation in the creation of production documentation and work instructions.
- Project planning and procurement of new production equipment in cooperation with the project team and the target departments.
- Definition and execution of machine acceptance tests at the supplier site and during installation at P+F. Handover of processes and production equipment to serial production in accordance with applicable guidelines.
- Creation and evaluation of prototype build results and sharing them with project management and development.
- Identification and independent implementation of improvement opportunities in product and process design.
- Training of operators, technicains, engineers within the project scope on product and process knowledge.
- Participation in the global standardization of production equipment, process parameterization, and auxiliary and operating materials.
- Second level support for technical problems in the production area
- IT-related support in the area of machine control, data exchange, and program modifications.
- Collaboration with all local operation and support functions and all relevant global functions (RnD, GTM, etc.) to support global knowledge sharing.
Your Profile
- Degree in electrical engineering, or mechatronics engineering/mechanical engineering with relevant experience in electronics and electrical engineering or with a secondary-level qualification in electrical engineering and relevant experience
- CAD software knowledge and experience
- Good knowledge of MS Office applications and standard ERP software
- Knowledge of industry-standard production technologies in the field of optoelectronics
- 3+ years of specialist professional experience in production organization
- Knowledge of project management

- Fluent English (written+spoken) is required
- Native level Hungarian language skills
- Technical drawing interpretation skills
- Intercultural/social competence
- Working in international teams
