Production Technician

Location: Manitowoc  Pay: Starting at $21.00/hour  Job Summary: We are currently seeking a motivated and dependable Production Tech  to join our Fabrication team. This role is essential in operating fabrication equipment and ensuring the quality of metal frame components used in our products. Key Responsibilities: Operate fabrication equipment (e.g., robotic welders, hydraulic banks, saws, benders, drill presses) Use hand tools such as drills, riveters, impact tools, and wrenches Read and follow production schedules and work instructions Perform quality inspections and maintain high standards Train new technicians as needed Participate in Kaizen events and process improvement initiatives Offer suggestions to enhance productivity and reduce downtime Prioritize safety and ensure proper use of PPE Report safety concerns and help onboard new employees on safety protocols   Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Experience: No prior experience required Certifications: KI Robot Welding (preferred or willing to obtain)   Skills and Abilities: Strong communication and teamwork Dependability and a positive attitude Basic computer skills Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision 401(k) with employer match Company funded ESOP Monthly Goalsharing Bonus program Paid vacation, sick time, and holidays Short- and long-term disability Life Insurance Onsite nurse and physical therapist Onsite fitness center Education reimbursement   Ready to join our team?
