  • Knowledgeable in general and administrative procedures, and be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Assist in preparing, organizing and maintaining documents and correspondence in accordance with Army and local regulations and Standing Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Perform filing in accordance with Army Records Information Management System (ARIMS).
  • Assist with preparing briefing slides and spreadsheets.
  • Answer telephone calls and assist with safety inquiries or route calls as needed.
  • Make copies and laminate documents.
  • Format additional duty appointments in accordance with Army regulation and guidance.
  • Assist with personnel in processing and out processing documentation.
  • Assist with the revision of regulations and standard operating procedures.
  • Assist with coordinating periodic Safety and Environmental program inspections conducted by external agencies approximately 1-2 times per year.
  • Prepare Travel requests in DTS; approximately 2-3 times per year. OCONUS requests will be coordinated and prepared in accordance with applicable guidance; approximately 2-3 per month.
  • Proofread correspondence documents for formatting, grammar, punctuation, and spelling in accordance with Army regulations.
  • Use GFEBS/DMLSS to order supplies and submit purchase requests. Track, receive, and organize office supplies.
  • Review and track the risk assessment process for Institute hazardous risk assessed SOPs.
  • Organize training sessions and meetings, and coordinate electronic sign-in and PowerPoint presentations with the Visual Information Office approximately 4-5 times per year.
  • Input safety audit finding discrepancies and track the corrective actions to closure in the UTOPIA Inspection Module.
  • Manage all safety related documents and links on RIID Vision to ensure they are current.
  • Process safety awards and update certificate templates periodically.
