Serve as the primary on-site lead for all overnight camps and conferences during the summer term. This position is responsible for coordinating residential operations, supporting guest services, and ensuring a safe, organized, and positive experience for all camp and conference participants.***This is a temporary student worker position for the 2026 Summer Semester. ***

Duties and Tasks:
Oversee and support all residential aspects of camps and conferences, including but not limited to:
- Serve as the primary liaison between the Camps, Conferences, and Events department and Residence Life
- Coordinate and assist with key and access card preparation prior to group arrivals
- Conduct room condition reports before and after each group stay to document facility conditions
- Manage check-in and check-out processes, including distribution and collection of keys/cards and completion of required paperwork
- Respond to and resolve guest concerns, facility issues, and lockouts in a timely and professional manner
- Submit and track work orders with Facilities Management for maintenance or operational needs
- Assist with room setups and breakdowns for residential and meeting spaces as needed
- Monitor residential areas to ensure safety, policy compliance, and overall guest satisfaction
- Communicate effectively with camp directors, university staff, and participants to support daily operations
- Complete additional projects and operational tasks as assigned during downtime
REQUIRED Qualifications, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Qualifications:
- Saint Leo University student preferred; must reside on campus for the summer
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Resident Assistant or similar residential leadership role
Knowledge:
- Current CPR, AED, and First Aid Certificate preferred
Skills:
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to take initiative and assist where needed
Abilities:
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat and sun exposure
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Ability to remain calm and responsive in high-pressure or time-sensitive situations
