Quality Manager – Product Development (Electronics)

Location: Pune Experience: 8–12 Years Role Overview: We are looking for a high‑potential Quality Manager to drive product development quality for EV Power Electronics including Onboard Chargers (OBC), DC‑DC Converters, Inverters, and High‑Voltage ECUs. This role focuses on quality planning, process compliance, APQP/PPAP, FMEAs, supplier quality, and customer quality management, with minimal emphasis on testing, validation, or reliability ownership. Key Responsibilities: • Lead project quality planning (APQP, PPAP, quality KPIs, milestones). • Analyze and integrate customer requirements into product development. • Drive DFMEA, PFMEA, FMEDA reviews and ensure action closure. • Support design reviews ensuring process compliance, traceability, and special characteristic management. • Lead structured problem-solving (8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa) during development. • Act as customer-facing quality interface for reviews, audits, and escalations. • Coordinate supplier quality activities for semiconductors, magnetics, HV connectors, etc. • Prepare customer PPAP submissions and ensure project alignment. • Ensure compliance with HELLA Product Engineering Process, IATF 16949, and internal processes. • Support process audits, lessons learned, and rollout of new quality standards.
