Job Description
Wellfound Behavioral Health Hospital is a 120 bed adult inpatient psychiatric hospital located in Tacoma, WA. We are a nonprofit hospital awarded both Department of Health and Joint Commission accreditation.
Position information:
This position promotes and restores patient’s mental health in a safe and therapeutic environment through direct nursing care to assigned patients within the nursing process. RN’s participate in the care plans of our patients and their wrap around services. They provide physical and psychological support to our patients and provide clinical leadership for other staff on the unit. - Hourly- $41.12- $76.24 based on the union scale for experience
- Shift Differentials: $4.25 nights and $3.00 weekends

- Paid Time Off
- You will accrue Paid Sick and Safe Leave at 1 hour per 40 hours worked. Paid Sick leave cannot be used until 90 days after your hire date.
- Paid Time Off will be accrued based on hours worked and tenure. You will accrue 0.12 hours of PTO per hours worked until you reach the next level of accrual. PTO cannot be used until 90 days after your hire date with the exception of designated Wellfound holidays.

- Sign on Bonus: $12,500 payable over one year

- Associate degree in nursing, BSN preferred.
- Current Washington State license without restrictions or accepted compact license
- One year inpatient psychiatric nursing experience required
- Candidate should possess strong nursing assessment skills
- Basic Life Support (BLS) card through American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
