Job Description
Southeast Healthcare is seeking a full-time Mental Health Therapist to provide behavioral health services to adults receiving primary care through our FQHC. The Therapist will work in an integrated healthcare environment and provide assessment and interventions that impact lifestyles and health issues. The Therapist must be well skilled in working with people with Substance Use and Mental Health Disorders. The Therapist will work at more than one service site including a homeless shelter for women and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual, and group therapy to patients with a range of mental health conditions, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and therapeutic interventions.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, including diagnostic evaluations, risk assessments, and treatment planning.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical staff, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in regular supervision and professional development opportunities.
- Ensure adherence to confidentiality, ethical standards, and organizational policies.
- Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in the field of mental health therapy.
- Master’s degree and LISW/LSW required.
