We are looking for a Used Equipment and Parts Pricing Specialist to join our Remarketing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in Managing and coaching the Parts Sales Team to achieve set KPI’s whilst maintaining good customer relationships and service. You will Effectively manage all aspects of trading evaluations. This role will be responsible for all reporting and marketing for Used Equipment Centre (including social media platforms).
What you'll be doing:
Used Equipment:
To manage valuation process of trade in machines and present valuations with appropriate back-up data.
To manage and develop end user / trade sales from enquiries for domestic & Export markets.
Analyse potential commercial risks in Guaranteed Buy Back / operating lease activity and report it in correct manner.
Work with all Area Sales Managers, trade and retail customers and collate part exchange machine information. To review all available information and value machines using market knowledge, historical sales data, trade contacts, valuation databases and auctions, and prepare accurate values with backup data in agreed time scales to assist with new business.
Support and liaise with Demo Inspector/ Plant Inspector/ Area Sales Manager’s to ensure inspection process is adhered to collating and storing information.
Monitor & check machines arrive in the condition and specification as agreed.
Manage Used Equipment stock list and circulate to internal and external customers.
Monitor and report on current offers/valuations and market changes and highlight any risk.
Manage and negotiate deals with export and domestic customers structure deals in line with agreed profit retention and financial parameters.
Working alongside and supporting Remarketing Specialist.
Used Parts:
To advise Remarketing Director of future machine / component purchases to ensure business growth in line with KPI.
Manage overseas and international Used Parts Sales ensuring correct documentation is collated and stored.
Carry out machine breakdown process e.g. assigning cost & retailing pricing to parts.
Oversee the annual stock take.
Manage Used Parts stock list and circulate to internal and external customers.
Liaise directly with depot parts / service staff on a weekly basis to gauge market conditions.
Reporting/Marketing:
Provide monthly reporting on sales of Used Equipment and Used Parts.
Produce monthly Used Parts report.
Maintain and manage Used Equipment Department & Used Parts website.
Manage all marketing campaigns.
Manage all updates and promotional advertisements on social media platforms.
Team Management:
Ensure Used Parts margins are maintained by leading the Used Parts Sales team.
Manage Used Parts sales team to ensure KPIs are met ensuring the highest customer service at all times.
Demonstrate effective leadership to direct reports, to include coaching, mentoring and assessing training requirements.
Provide cover for the Remarketing Director as required.
Manage team to ensure stock is correctly identified and located.
Work in accordance with SMT GB standards of health, safety, quality and environmental care.
Any other duties that may be reasonably requested by your manager.
