Data-driven decision-making is at the heart of how NKG steers its global business. To take our reporting capabilities to the next level, we are building a Global Reporting Layer - a central data platform that consolidates information from all ERP systems in use across the group worldwide. To own and shape this initiative, we are looking for an experienced
(Senior) Product Owner Reporting (f/m/d).
Your responsibilities
Own the Reporting Value Stream end-to-end: Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for NKG's global reporting landscape, aligning stakeholders across the group and the holding
Drive the Global Reporting Layer: Take full responsibility for requirements management and prioritization for the implementation of a scalable, group-wide reporting platform that integrates data from all globally deployed ERP systems
Shape the architecture: Work closely with architects and engineers to ensure the Global Reporting Layer is designed for scalability, reliability, and long-term extensibility - enabling efficient reporting for both individual group companies and the NKG holding
Translate business needs into product increments: Work with stakeholders from Finance, Controlling, and Management to capture reporting requirements and translate them into well-defined epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Stakeholder management: Act as the central interface between business stakeholders (e.g., Controlling, Finance, Management) and the technical development team, ensuring a shared understanding of priorities and progress
Build for the future: Lay the foundation for future expansions of the value stream - including Business Intelligence, forecasting, and trend analysis - while keeping the current focus firmly on reliable, scalable reporting
Establish ways of working: Help define and continuously improve agile product management practices within the Reporting Value Stream
Your profile
Several years of experience in product management or product ownership as well as a proven background in financial reporting, data, or BI domains
Strong technical understanding of data architectures, reporting platforms, ERP data structures, and integration patterns (e.g., data warehouses, data lakes, ETL/ELT pipelines, APIs)
Experience working with ERP systems in a complex, international enterprise environment is a strong advantage
Proven stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and align stakeholders at all levels across multiple countries and time zones
Strong requirements analysis skills, with the ability to elicit, structure, and validate business requirements
Ability to develop and communicate a clear product vision, strategy and roadmap and communicate it to the team and stakeholders
Proficiency in agile product management methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Product Discovery); CSPO or equivalent certification is a plus
Excellent English communication skills (written & verbal); German and Spanis are a plus
A university degree in business informatics, computer science, data analytics, economics, or a comparable field is advantageous
