Job Description
Shift: 1st shift
Days of Work: Monday – Friday
Work Hours: 8:00am to 5:00 pm
Work Location: On-site (North Mankato, MN)
Starting Salary: $61,800 to $92,700 Annually
Pay Frequency: Bi-Weekly

Position Objective:
Primary function of this role is to support Nidec Power Aftermarket operations to achieve 100% on time delivery performance. This role is responsible for sourcing, quoting, expediting, and own communication of materials for Aftermarket orders. Secondary responsibilities of this role support general administrative and various project management tasks.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Provide quotations from vendors to the Purchasing team
Ensure proper supply of materials to meet daily production and Aftermarket sales order needs
Use Oracle MRP module to optimize inventory turns
Manage all open and past due Pos within Oracle by using Open / Late Orders report
Manager all exceptions, pull ins, push outs & delete orders as needed
Proactively communicate with suppliers as needed regarding supply needs, shortages, pricing and invoicing issues
Support inventory on hand accuracy improvement projects by working with production departments, engineering, and stockroom associates to correct bill of material issues and maintain accurate inventory on hand reporting
Maintain correct item setups in Oracle, planner codes, price costs, lead times, sourcing rules, etc. to ensure efficient use of Oracle MRP
Support strategic sourcing projects and initiatives as required
Maintain highest standards of integrity and maintain honest, fair and legal relationships with all vendors
Supporting aftermarket business by providing reports and assisting with assigned tasks
Experience/Skills:
Minimum 2 years materials/purchasing experience in high volume manufacturing environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong aptitude for working with computer systems including Microsoft Suite, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.
MRP/ERP experience a must, Oracle preferred
APICS certification, Military purchasing, or relevant experience/training a plus
Education:
Associate Degree in Business or equivalent professional experience
