Job Description:
The Member Protection Specialist is an entry - level role within a highly coordinated, close-knit team responsible for protecting company revenue, member integrity, and payment systems through disciplined investigation and mitigation of fraud and unauthorized activity.
Job Responsibilities:
Analyze transactions and account behavior to surface fraud signals and emerging risk patterns.
Conduct structured investigations into chargebacks, disputes, and unauthorized activity.
Complete monthly audits for commission payout.
Identify and resolve account takeover and anomalous account behavior.
Apply policy with precision across financial risk, abuse, and compensation integrity.
Work in lockstep with the Member Protection team and cross-functional partners to contain threats and reduce exposure.
Maintain clear, defensible case documentation to support consistent team decision-making and reporting.
As needed, monitor and control online sales of doTERRA product (Amazon, eBay, etc.).
Respond to any related questions from other departments.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required.
0 - 2 years of experience preferred.
Analytical or investigative experience preferred.
English proficiency required; additional language skills are a plus.
Ability to analyze information, identify patterns, and detect anomalies in transactions or account activity.
Strong attention to detail with consistent accuracy in high-volume environments.
Ability to follow structured processes while exercising sound judgment with incomplete information.
Demonstrated accountability, including ownership of decisions, error correction, and continuous improvement.
Ability to operate in lockstep with a disciplined team, maintaining consistency, shared standards, and collective accountability.
Basic computer proficiency required; experience with CRM, case management, or transaction monitoring tools preferred.
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, apply coaching, and improve performance in a fast-paced environment.
