General training of apprentices in the technical area (basic mechanical engineering).
Link educational content to the respective day-to-day operation.
Preparation for vocational school, trainee contests, final apprenticeship exam.
Administer a comprehensive training program that will allow your apprentices to be able to run every aspect of the Maintenance Department.
Attend any further training courses as required.
Plan training programs which will develop key practical skills and acquisition of Company knowledge.
Oversee on the job training, providing guidance and support where required to Apprentices and other employees.
Ensure that all training and tasks are conducted in a safe working manner and that any incidents/accidents and hazards are duly reported.
Implement and maintain the Company Quality Systems.
Ensure all safety precautions as detailed in the Health and Safety procedures are followed and that safety equipment is in good working order and used at all times.
Maintain the condition and cleanliness of the training facility and all involved equipment to a high standard.
Act as point of contact between school and students.
Participation in HR recruiting for potential students.
Other duties as assigned.
