Description
As a Senior Software Engineer Data (m/f/d/x), you will be responsible for the development/improvement of software for complex products and services along the entire development process (lifecycle).
Your main tasks are:
- You will clarify requirements and devise concepts and general specifications for modifying software for complex products and services
- You will carry out appropriate programming work (coding) and take over the installation and configuration of the software for complex products and services
- You prepare and maintain software documentation
- You design and define system tests as well as test automation and support team members during the fault analysis and up until fault clearance
- You provide technical last-level support also for other teams for the relevant systems and services and you manage complex projects
Requirements
You are characterized by detailed company-specific knowledge or particular special knowledge as well as skills:
- Extensive experience in finance and billing environments, particularly in supporting month-end closing activities as well as developing and operating complex data and software solutions in an international environment
- Several years of experience as a Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Python, PL/SQL, ETL development, and relational database systems (Oracle, MS SQL, DB2, Teradata). Experience with CI/CD (GitLab), DevOps, agile methodologies, UML, and SAP (especially SAP BusinessObjects) is required.
- Very good knowledge of the regulatory requirements related to “Mehr Breitband für Deutschland” and their implementation
- Very good knowledge of REST API development, including experience with TM Forum standards (experience with Deutsche Telekom’s internal TARDIS architecture is desirable)
- Excellent German and English language skills (C1 level)
This position is also available on a part-time basis.
