JOB SUMMARY

The Lobby Attendant at Caravan Court is responsible for ensuring public areas and offices are impeccably clean, comfortable, and welcoming, while reflecting the hotel’s unique style and standards of service and hospitality

---

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & FUNCTIONS

 

· Operational Responsibilities

o Clean front desk public area

o Take out trash from all office areas

o Clean all public and employee restrooms on property

o Restock paper towels in all public restrooms

o Clean fitness center and equipment

o Restock fitness center water and amenities

o Mop elevators

o Vacuum and maintain elevator landings

o Complete daily, weekly, and monthly projects

· Guest Services

o Anticipate and attend to guest needs during interactions

o Be proactive when attending to guests

· Team Support and Training

o Attend and contribute to department meetings

o Participate in cross training

o Complete all required trainings

· Communication and Reporting

o Facilitate all internal communications and follow up accordingly

o Run all reports necessary to the operation

o Complete full shift pass on reports and checklists

o Log all work in appropriate platforms

· Safety & Compliance

o Adhere to all safety and security guidelines

o Familiarize with housekeeping SDS binder

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Effective time management and problem-solving skills

· Ability to work well with a team and demonstrate attention to detail

· Excellent organizational skills and interpersonal abilities

Physical Requirements

· Sitting: Short periods of time

· Standing/Walking: Long periods of standing, minimum of 5 consecutive hours

· Lifting/Carrying: Occasionally, maximum of 50 pounds. Pushing/ Pulling carts

 

Working Environment

· Interior: Guest Rooms/ Guest room corridors

· Exterior: Moderate outdoor working environment

BASICS

· Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas

· Display courteous behavior with guests and team members

· Report any unsafe conditions immediately

· Ensure hotel equipment is in proper working condition

· Perform any additional duties as assigned by the supervisor

CANDIDATE PROFILE

· Education and Experience

o Minimum one year prior hotel housekeeping experience

o No minimum education requirements required
