Service Technician – Commercial Truck Upfits (Cranes & Equipment)

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Technician to install and service commercial truck upfits on cab chassis and pickup platforms. This role involves working with lift gates, flatbeds, service bodies, dump bodies, cranes, and other specialty equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Install, assemble, and service commercial truck upfit components including liftgates, flatbeds, service bodies, dump bodies, and cranes

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems related to truck equipment

• Read and interpret work orders, technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and installation instructions

• Ensure all installations meet safety and quality standards

• Perform inspections, troubleshooting, and adjustments as needed

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects efficiently

Required Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in automotive repair and maintenance, preferably with trucks.
- Experience working with diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
- Previous experience in a dealership or service center environment is advantageous.
