Co Manager at Starbucks JFK Airport

Villa Restaurant Group operates high volume, guest focused concepts in airport environments. Our Starbucks at JFK moves fast, serves with heart, and runs on strong leadership. We are looking for a hands on Co Manager who can lead from the floor, build teams, and keep standards high even when it is busy.

What You Will Do

As Co Manager, you will partner with the General Manager to drive daily operations and exceptional guest experiences. You will be a floor leader who coaches in the moment and keeps service smooth across all stations.

• Lead shifts in a high volume airport environment with a guest first mindset
• Coach, train, and develop Baristas and Shift Supervisors
• Support hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management
• Ensure food safety, cleanliness, cash controls, and brand standards
• Drive speed of service, quality, and hospitality during peak periods
• Step in across stations as needed including barista, register, and support
• Maintain compliance with airport badging, safety, and security protocols
• Collaborate with Operations and HR partners to hit staffing and service goals

What We Are Looking For

• 2+ years of leadership experience in QSR, coffee, or high volume food service
• Previous Starbucks experience is highly preferred
• A positive attitude with the ability to boost team morale and keep energy high during busy shifts
• Ability to handle challenges with professionalism, patience, and a calm demeanor
• Leads by example and sets the standard for service, teamwork, and accountability
• Flexible availability including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Comfortable working across multiple stations and concepts when needed
• Ability to obtain and maintain airport security badging
