Responsibilities:
- Ensure the guest dining experience is enjoyable, pleasant, and well-timed.
- Take orders and assist guests with selecting menu items by highlighting specials and demonstrating appropriate up selling techniques.
- Thoroughly answer all menu questions and seek guidance from a manager for any unusual questions.
- Refers communication, guest feedback, and any potential or real guest dissatisfactions to the Manager.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables and dining area around guests.
- Completes all opening and closing restaurant duties.
- Services guest needs as required. Resets clean china, glassware, and silverware during guest service.
- Handle money and follow approved cashiering procedures.
- 1-2 years of restaurant server experience preferred.
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Developed English language skills (both written and orally) to communicate with other employees, guests, or vendors as needed.
- Fine Dining Experience
- Wine knowledge
- Walking or standing to a significant degree.
- Knowledge of Point-of-Sale system
