Job Description

The Maintenance Project Technician completes assigned projects working independently or with other staff

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (*CF indicates Critical Function)

  • Completes Work Order information and other required logs on Worxhub using provided tablets and computers(*CF)
  • Completes assigned tasks such as: kitchen cabinet replacement, door installation, bathroom renovation, ceramic tile work, concrete work, light plumbing and electrical, drywall, etc. (*CF)
  • Responsible for comprehensive project completion; planning, ordering, demo, coordination/communication, finishing, cleanup, documentation
  • Has “ownership” of project completion, quality and timeframe (*CF)
  • Effectively communicates with Director and all other stakeholders in project completion
  • Maintains assigned and company tools, supplies, materials in working order
  • Works alone and/or with others performing trade-skilled, and non-skilled tasks
  • Provides direction to other WPNP staff assigned to project(s)
  • Completes all required training and in-services (*CF)
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  1. High school diploma, or HSE
  2. Demonstrated successful experience and competency completing multi-trade skill projects
  3. Proficiency with computers and standard office software
  4. Valid NYS Drivers License
