What You Can Expect

Lead the key account team and act as key contact point for assigned key client matters, anticipate the client’s needs, work within the company to ensure the client expectations are met, and help the client succeed and, in the meantime, bring in new business from existing clients or potential clients.

Formulate forward thinking and achievable business plans to gain market shares

Collaborate and mobilize cross functions to support sales executions

Coaching and developing subordinates to perform work effectively.

Engage customers and execute programs aligning to local law and company policy

Effective staffing of organization, including hires and dismissal of employees when needed.

How You'll Create Impact

20% Business Planning and Result Deliverable

    • Establish sales targets and KPI targets by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for the accounts; and projecting expected sales volume for existing and new products.
    • Develop the sales plan to capture the business opportunities and cover the revenue and expense controls.
    • Meeting planned sales & KPI goals

 

20% Leading Sales Execution

    • Lead the sales team and implements sales programs according to the plan & follow up on work results.
    • Reinforce team to possess deep knowledge of business product offering and value proposition
    • Manage Key Account Sales team to perform job roles independently
    • Proactively pursue new business and sales opportunities and mobilize cross team support and resources
    • Execute accounts activities independently

 

15% Building Key Account customers

  • Align with marketing to determine the target customer list to focus
  • Developing a solid and trusting relationship between major key account and customers
  • Meet with potential clients and grow long-lasting relationships by understanding their needs
  • Solve problems for clients and customers by developing innovative and tailored sales solutions
  • Work with internal departments to engage customers
  • Develop a plan to reactivate the lost accounts/ customers
  • Being a brand ambassador and reflect company values at all times

 

15% Tracking and Responding to competition

    • Oversee the sales team execution to ensure company quotas and standards are met by holding regular check-ins with team
    • Tracking sales goals and reporting results as necessary.
    • Align with internal team to adjust sales plans in responding to competition

 

10% Managing the team operation

    • Maintains team professional and technical knowledge by attending education training and workshops
    • Managing recruiting, objectives setting, coaching, performance monitoring, exit of sales representatives
    • Maintain sales team to follow through the sales process, cases setting process and cases supporting in OR requirement
    • Collaborate with marketing and operation to provide the demand forecast

 

10% Building high performance, teamwork and accountability team culture

    • Maintains sales teamwork results by counseling and disciplining employees; and planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
    • Recognize high performers of the team
    • Initiate Performance improvement plan if required
    • Follow organizational policies and regulations at all times

 

10% Developing team talents

    • Developing your sales team through motivation, counseling and product knowledge education.
    • Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop a plan to fulfill them
    • Develop each sales team members with individual learning and development plan

Your Background

EDUCATION

  • Minimum 7 years’ hospital experience with a minimum of 3 years’ sales team management and experience with Key Account Management is preferred
  • Proven success in leading team and achieve business results
  • Demonstrated ability to learn functional / technical skills and behavioral competencies.
  • Extensive experience in competing and succeeding with diverse specialty product portfolios.
  • Experience in analyzing sales data and interpreting trends, implications etc.
  • Proven people management leadership and project team participation.
  • Experience in Medical devices would be advantageous

Travel Expectations

 40 -50 % business travel mainly domestically frequently. Travelling outside business hours or over the weekends may happen.
