Job Description
The Emergency Medical Dispatcher performs a wide variety of activities related to the request for Emergency Medical Services (Ambulance) from in hospital departments and from outside members of the community. This position assures that there is someone dedicated to answering of the E911 communications lines. The Communications Center is operated on a 24 hour, 7 days a week format and the hospital’s dedicated emergency number. The Emergency Medical Dispatcher provides dispatch services for the hospital in the receipt and processing of requests for assistance.
