Class 4 Driver – Specialist Hazardous & Liquid Waste
Job Description
We’re on the lookout for a reliable and safety‑focused Class 4 Driver to join our high‑performing Technical Services team.
What you’ll actually be doing
This isn’t just point A to B driving — it’s hands-on, varied, and skilled work:
- Operating specialist vehicles, vacuum systems & pumps
- Collecting and transporting hazardous & liquid waste
- Supporting on-site treatment and servicing
- Completing compliance paperwork and job records
- Carrying out daily vehicle & safety checks
- Working closely with a high-performing, safety-first crew
You’ll already understand the importance of health & safety and will be someone who looks out for your crew - ensuring everyone gets home safely, every single day.
What we’re looking for
You don’t need to tick every box – but the right attitude + experience is key:
- ✅ Full NZ Class 4 licence (clean record)
- ✅ D endorsement (or willing to get it)
- ✅ Experience in transport, waste, industrial services, or similar
- ✅ Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work
- ✅ Strong safety mindset and team awareness
Highly regarded:
- Experience with vacuum trucks / pumps
- Confidence driving manual / Road Ranger gearboxes
