Job Description
Designation : Electrical Engineer
Location : Bengaluru, Karnataka

Desired Profile:

1.    Diploma/ BE/B.Tech in Printing technology/ Electrical Engineering is preferrable.
2.    Relevant work experience of 8 to 12 years in Graphic Art Industry especially in servicing of Printing equipment
3.    A very good knowledge of offset/sheetfed/large format printing machineries candidates are preferred.
4.    Excellent business communication in English is mandatory.
5.    Candidates based out of Bengaluru is preferred. 
6.    Willing to travel extensively.
7.    Deliver high level of technical service and support to both internal and external customers in installations and servicing of equipment as per the guidelines of Heidelberg Customer Service Department.
8.    Support sales operation in respect to field technical issues, customer complaints and sales opportunities including 2S sales for the region.
9.    Develop customer support standards by ensuring first time fix of service issues, improved customer response time and efficiently manage overall service operational cost of the region.

Key Responsibilities:
    Demonstrate a strong ability to comprehend project requirements and offer technical solutions in accordance with industry standards and company guidelines.
    Analyze the features and specifications of electrical machinery and systems and install necessary applications to optimize their performance.
    Understand customers' job requirements and efficiently configure application settings to meet their specific needs.
    Analyze the nature of service assignments and strive to close service calls with the least possible downtime, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
    Adhere to job scheduling and planning, ensuring projects are completed within specified timelines.
    Organize and utilize tools and gauges effectively to ensure the successful execution of projects while complying with corporate guidelines.
    Support and execute regular Preventive Maintenance (PPM) activities as per the defined schedules.
    Continuously learn and adapt to different types of service assignments, ensuring efficient problem-solving and technical proficiency.
    Maintain proper usage of documentation throughout the service process, including preparing detailed service reports.
    Provide accurate recommendations for spare parts, ensuring optimal performance and cost-efficiency.
    Learn and follow recommended testing procedures to validate the quality and reliability of electrical systems.
    Submit comprehensive documentation of work performed, ensuring all project details are recorded accurately.
    Escalate service issues in a timely manner, regularly follow up with all relevant parties, and work towards logical conclusions for service-related challenges.
    Promote service contracts to customers, monitor machines under warranty, and proactively offer renewals for Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs).
    Actively participate in knowledge sharing within the Service department to enhance collective expertise.
    Understand and apply cost control concepts within the scope of your activities, while taking ownership of company assets under your care.
    Gather valuable market information to contribute to decision-making and the improvement of services and products.
