Key Responsibilities
- Deliver an Emergent Curriculum that supports each child’s unique development and learning journey
- Maintain accurate daily documentation, progress reports, and attendance records
- Support children’s emotional, cognitive, physical, and behavioural development in a nurturing environment
- Collaborate with external professionals such as Speech-Language Pathologists or Occupational Therapists when required
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations, including classroom ratios
- Actively participate in team meetings, professional development workshops, and classroom transitions
Qualifications
- Valid Nova Scotia ECE License
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Check and Child Abuse Registry Check
- Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Certification (Level B or C)
- Ability to safely push, pull, or lift up to 45 lbs
