Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to bring new business opportunities and improve the existing ones by supporting the Sales organization with relevant knowledge of products and markets. Each day, you will support the defined Sales organization and customers throughout the sales process in your assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by participating in sales strategy discussions for the assigned area, agreements on short-term and long-term goals, and negotiation of the division sales budget.
The work model for the role is: Hybrid
This role is contributing to the Automation Business Area in Lima, Perú / Buenos Aires, Argenitna
You will be mainly accountable for:
Creating the division sales plans for the area, in coordination with the Sales organization and teams.
Analyzing the customer needs and competitor offers through general market information and the information provided by the Sales organization.
Ensuring efficient marketing actions (e.g., product launches) and communications to the Sales organization and customers, communicating the value proposition of the products, systems, services, and packages provided by the company.
Supporting the Sales organization/customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions, as well as in the preparation of competitive/strategic offers.
Qualifications for the role
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
8+ years of proven experience in technical sales, business development, or account management within industrial automation, process instrumentation, measurement, or analytical solutions.
Strong knowledge of measurement and analytics solutions, including instrumentation, process analyzers, transmitters, flow, pressure, temperature, level, and gas analysis technologies.
Experience selling solutions to process industries such as Oil & Gas, Mining, Power Generation, Water & Wastewater, Food & Beverage, Pulp & Paper, or Chemicals.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Customer-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving and consultative selling skills.
Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
Availability to travel within the assigned territory as required.
