Job Description
Custodian
Environmental Air Systems, a full-service mechanical contractor, is seeking a Custodian to join our manufacturing shop in High Point, North Carolina. position is available on first shift.

Schedule: 6:00am-4:30pm with OT as necessary
Location: 250 Swathmore Ave, High Point, NC 27263
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and breakrooms
- Clean and sweep manufacturing facility daily
- Dust walls
- Collect trash outside the manufacturing facility
- Operate weedwhacker to maintain outdoor shrubbery as needed
- Maintain a neat and orderly custodian room; ensure cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked
- Work safely and adhere to all safety rules and policies
- Work in a fast-paced team environment
Education Requirements/Qualifications:
- Reading and speaking proficiency in either English or Spanish required.
- Minimum of a high school education or equivalent
- Previous janitor or maintenance experience preferred
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or construction environment preferred
Job Requirements/Special Skills:
- Ability to speak and read either English or Spanish
- Ability to work independently and on a team
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand and work for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to work in conditions of varying heat and cold where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels
