Production Planner

The mission we are proposing: Reporting to the S&OP Manager, you will play a key role in supporting operational planning activities and creating tools and reports for the Planning and Procurement departments. You will participate in maintaining the production schedule, making the required adjustments based on customer requests, and ensuring the proper functioning of production orders. An overview of your new position •  Create production orders from purchase orders received in the system and ensure proper sequencing/scheduling. •  Complete schedule changes within the long-term planning horizon (5 to 12 weeks). •  Validate and maintain the integrity of Bill of Materials data. •  Create recurring reports to provide visibility to the departments involved. •  Collaborate with planning, operations, logistics, supply chain and finance teams to ensure consistency, feasibility and order delivery. •  Identify discrepancies or constraints that may affect order execution and contribute to their resolution. •  Ensure the reliability of information in systems and contribute to continuous process improvement. •  Contribute to the standardization of planning-related work methods. You are the ideal candidate if you have •  College diploma in administration, logistics or a related field; a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is considered an asset. •  Minimum of 3 years of experience in a planning or operations management role. •  Experience with an ERP system (AS400 or equivalent), considered a strong asset. •  Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office suite tools. •  Bilingualism in French and English is required to communicate with certain team members and understand customer technical documentation, mainly in English. •  Strong attention to detail, priority management, autonomy, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
