Baptist Health is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to serve as Executive Director of the Centralized Verification Organization (CVO) in Jacksonville, Fl.
This role provides executive leadership and operational oversight for enterprise credentialing, primary source verification, payer enrollment data integrity, and provider lifecycle processes across the system.
The Executive Director will ensure credentialing operations are timely, accurate, compliant, and service-oriented, supporting safe, high-quality care for both employed and affiliated providers. This leader plays a critical role in advancing operational maturity, enhancing collaboration, and maintaining NCQA-aligned standards across the organization.
Executive Director, CVO, Job Responsibilities:
- Provide executive oversight of credentialing, verification, and provider enrollment operations across Baptist Health
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and NCQA standards
- Lead and optimize end-to-end provider lifecycle processes, including onboarding and recredentialing
- Drive operational excellence, process improvement, and data integrity initiatives
- Partner with clinical, operational, and administrative leaders to support a seamless provider experience
- Oversee day-to-day CVO performance, including service delivery, quality, and turnaround times
- Strengthen cross-functional collaboration across HR, Medical Staff, Revenue Cycle, and other key departments
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting to support informed decision-making
- Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer service excellence
Experience Requirements:
- Progressive leadership experience in credentialing, provider enrollment, or healthcare operations required
- Experience leading centralized verification or credentialing functions preferred
- Strong knowledge of NCQA standards, regulatory requirements, and credentialing best practices required
- Demonstrated experience driving process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives
Education & Credential Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred
Relevant certification (e.g., CPCS, CPMSM) preferred
