  • Perm Full Time|38 hours/week

  • Salary: $122,881.12 + Super + Salary Packaging

Your opportunity

Mission Australia is seeking an experienced and passionate clinical care manager to lead our clinical team and drive the delivery of exceptional, person-centred care for older Australians.

Reporting to the Director of Care, this role will provide leadership, guidance, and oversight to registered nurses and clinical support staff, ensuring residents receive safe, high-quality care that aligns with the Aged Care Quality Standards, NDIS Practice Standards, and Mission Australia's values.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Lead and support a multidisciplinary clinical team to deliver outstanding resident care.
  • Oversee resident assessments, care planning, clinical reviews, and complex care management.
  • Drive compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, clinical governance requirements, and best-practice care.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop clinical staff through visible leadership and performance support.
  • Monitor clinical outcomes, incidents, and quality indicators to promote continuous improvement.
  • Provide oversight of medication management, infection prevention, and resident safety initiatives.
  • Collaborate with families, medical practitioners, allied health professionals, and external stakeholders to support positive resident outcomes.
  • Contribute to workforce planning, rostering, recruitment, and staff development.

Requirements for success

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Nursing or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years' clinical experience within aged care, health, disability, or community services.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience within a clinical environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex clinical presentations, behavioural support needs, and high-risk care situations.
  • Strong understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards, clinical governance, medication management, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong clinical leadership and decision-making capability.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • NDIS clearance and AHPRA
