- Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the machine
- Responsible for insuring printing process provides conforming product with a minimal amount of waste
- The candidate will lead and coordinate efforts of the Press crew.
- Maintain machine center at an acceptable level of housekeeping.
- Inputs production information
- Performs set up verification checklist
- Performs and oversees preventative maintenance responsibilities of operating personnel
- Performs and oversees sampling plan in accordance to requirements
- Communicate needs, obstacles, and direction to those who need the information
- Must be knowledgeable in all normal box plant skills including but not limited to reading hard cards, accurate production reporting, reading and using tape measure, use of calipers and micrometers.
- Must have knowledge of console and printing press and be able to operate safely and productively.
- Must be able to lead crew in all aspects of work center operations.
- Must possess basic computer skills, have the ability to perform mathematical problems relative to job functions, and possess problem solving skills.
- One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Pay Range: $40.46 per hour
