Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme (“MRC”) for Hong Kong
The Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme is a framework to facilitate Authorized Institutions (“AIs”) to bilaterally obtain reference information during their recruitment process for certain positions, such that misconduct information in an individual’s previous employments can be provided to AIs to inform their employment decisions.

China Hong KongJob Responsibilities:
• Facilitate credit approval processing by providing support in processing secured lending applications.
• Carry out credit review and recommendation for credit proposals of mortgage/secured lending in accordance with the Bank’s credit policies, guidelines, local regulatory requirements as well as delegated credit authority approval, if applicable.
• Liaise with related parties in ensuring prudent credit evaluation and timely assessment of all secured lending applications.
• Provide support in conducting regular credit reviews from time to time.
• Assist in the application / cancellation of the Bank’s system access rights for the team.
• Coordinate and provide administrative support to ensure timely credit processing and accuracy.
• Participate in assigned tasks/assignments related to enhancing and streamlining credit approval process.
• Support frontline and adhere to anti-money laundering and counter terrorist financing controls in accordance with regulatory standards and CNCBI policies
• Clearly communicate with the internal customers regarding their needs and expectations through active listening and proactive questioning skills.
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum 2-3 years’ relevant work experience, with at least 1 year in credit assessment and operations is preferred.
- Possess knowledge in regulatory requirements, including Banking Ordinance, PDPO, Code of Banking Practice, etc. in relation to credit assessment and processing of secured lending applications.
- Self-motivated and ability to work under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing.
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
