Job Description
Role Purpose
As Marketing Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in driving customer engagement, retention, lead generation and sales growth through data-driven marketing activity.
You will take ownership of our marketing automation platform (HubSpot), ensuring we maximise its full potential to deliver targeted campaigns, improve customer communication, support our sales team and drive measurable commercial results.
This role is for a commercially minded marketing professional who can combine creativity, technology and analytical thinking to develop, execute and continuously improve multi-channel marketing campaigns that generate measurable business outcomes.
You will be responsible for customer segmentation, marketing automation, campaign management, customer journey development, communication channel optimisation and marketing analytics, ensuring the right message reaches the right customer through the right channel at the right time.
You will be expected to take ownership of the marketing plan, identify opportunities, make recommendations and drive initiatives forward with minimal supervision.
This role is expected to challenge existing marketing activity, identify new opportunities and continuously improve how Springvale communicates with and engages its customers.
Key Responsibilities
HubSpot Ownership & Marketing Automation
HubSpot expertise is an absolute requirement. Candidates must have extensive hands-on experience using HubSpot on a daily basis and be capable of independently managing all aspects of the platform, including automation workflows, CRM management, customer segmentation, reporting, campaign execution, and performance optimisation. Applications without strong HubSpot experience will not be considered.

· Continuously identify opportunities to improve customer engagement and sales through marketing automation.
· Develop and maintain accurate customer data to support targeted marketing campaigns.
· Ensure best practice use of HubSpot throughout the business.
· Continuously review new HubSpot functionality and identify opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness and customer engagement.
Customer Segmentation & Communication Strategy
· Lead the development and implementation of customer segmentation strategies.
· Work with Sales and Leadership teams to create targeted communication plans for different customer groups.

· Continuously review customer engagement and identify opportunities to improve communication effectiveness.

Marketing Automation & Campaign Delivery
· Plan, build and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns.
· Create automated customer journeys that support:

Churn prevention

Promotional activity
Reactivation of dormant customers
· Develop campaigns with clear objectives, measurable outcomes and defined ROI targets.
· Monitor and optimise campaign performance using data and customer insights.
· Test and refine campaign activity to maximise engagement and conversion.
Customer Communication Channels
· Evaluate how customers prefer to communicate with Springvale and develop communication strategies accordingly.
· Explore, implement and optimise customer communication channels including:
Email Marketing
WhatsApp Business
SMS Marketing
Direct Mail
Social Media
Website Communications
· Develop communication strategies specific to customer segments.
· Analyse engagement across all communication channels and make recommendations to improve effectiveness.
· Identify emerging communication opportunities and technologies which could improve customer engagement and sales performance.
Direct Mail & Customer Engagement
· Develop and manage targeted direct mail campaigns for selected customer groups.
· Create communication programmes for smaller customer accounts and growth opportunities.
· Measure response rates and campaign effectiveness to maximise return on investment.
· Work with internal teams to create impactful customer engagement initiatives.
Content Creation & Marketing Assets
· Design and develop marketing content and collateral across print and digital channels.
· Manage and maintain brochures, sales literature, promotional materials and digital assets using external agencies where necessary.
· Coordinate marketing projects with external agencies, designers and print suppliers.
· Ensure all marketing materials are aligned with company branding and commercial objectives and delivered on time.

· Maintain and optimise website content and customer experience.

· Support SEO and website performance improvements.
· Ensure website content remains relevant, engaging and commercially focused.
Marketing Analytics & Reporting
· Establish meaningful marketing KPIs and reporting frameworks.
· Analyse campaign performance and customer engagement metrics.
· Produce regular reports highlighting:
Campaign effectiveness
Customer trends
Customer engagement
Segment performance
Opportunities for improvement
· Use data to challenge existing activity and continuously improve marketing performance.
· Provide recommendations based on data rather than assumptions.
Marketing Planning, Ownership & Accountability
· Take ownership of the annual marketing activity plan and continuously develop new initiatives to drive customer engagement, retention and sales growth.
· Proactively identify opportunities within customer data, sales trends and market activity.
· Develop campaigns and initiatives to capitalise on those opportunities.
· Produce and maintain a rolling 90-day marketing plan detailing:
Campaigns
Customer communications
Segmentation activity
HubSpot development
Key projects and deliverables
· Present recommendations for new communication channels, campaign ideas and customer engagement initiatives.
· Take full ownership for delivering agreed marketing activities and measuring their effectiveness.
· Demonstrate clear commercial impact from marketing activity.
Weekly Reporting Requirements
Monday Marketing Plan
Every Monday morning (before 10:00am UK time) submit a marketing plan outlining:
· Key objectives and priorities for the week.
· Campaigns being launched, developed or optimised.
· HubSpot activity planned.
· Automation workflows being developed, tested or improved.
· Customer segments being targeted.
· Communications scheduled across all channels.
· Website and content updates planned.
· Projects requiring support, approval or input.
· Expected outcomes and KPIs.
· Any risks or challenges that may impact delivery.
Friday Performance Summary
Every Friday afternoon (before close of business UK time) submit a performance summary detailing:
· Activities completed during the week.
· Campaign performance and key metrics.
· Customer engagement results.
· Leads, enquiries or opportunities generated.
· Progress against weekly objectives.
· Website and content updates completed.
· HubSpot developments completed.
· Performance by customer segment where applicable.
· Challenges encountered and actions taken.
· Recommendations for future activity.
· Priorities for the following week.
Monthly Marketing Review
Prepare a monthly marketing review covering:
· Performance against marketing objectives.
· Campaign effectiveness and ROI.
· Customer engagement trends.
· Customer retention activity.
· Performance of customer segments.
· Success of communication channels.
· HubSpot utilisation and opportunities for further development.
· Recommendations for future campaigns and initiatives.
· New opportunities to improve customer engagement, retention and sales growth.
Skills & Experience Required
