General Statement of Duties : The Clinic Coder is responsible for reviewing medical record documentation, posting charges consisting of CPT codes, ICD-10 diagnosis codes, and appropriate modifiers. Essential Duties: Posts clinic charges. Reviews medical record documentation for accuracy to support billing. Informs manager of compliance problems or issues. Communicates with Physician and staff when query needed on patient charges. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required, specialty training beyond high school preferred 1-2 years of related experience required, 2-4 years of experience preferred Certified Professional Coder certification or Certified Coding Specialist Physician-based certification required OrthoIndy is an Equal Opportunity Employer
