Follows Occupational Health and Safety, Mines Act, and Copper Mountain Mine’s standard operating procedures (SOPs),
Oversees work of mechanics, welders, electricians, apprentices, and labourers,
Develop maintenance personnel to create a learning environment for our apprentices and our employees,
Identifies, investigates, corrects, and documents potential environmental and safety problems,
Establishes methods to meet work schedules and coordinates work activities with other departments,
Resolves work problems and recommends measures to improve productivity and product quality,
Trains staff in job duties, safety procedures, and the Company policies and procedures,
Completes performance evaluations on direct reports and provides regular feedback,
Performs any other responsibilities related to the Mine Maintenance Supervisor role as required or as assigned by the department head.
