Job Description
Job Duties:
- The Supervisor Reservations works with the Reservations Manager to ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of the Reservations Department.
- Provides supervision for the Reservations staff and ensures guest/employee satisfaction.
- Works with the Reservations Manager to make sure business and budgetary goals are being met.
Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Administration, Business Administration or a related field preferred.
- Proficiency in a second language preferred.
- Minimum two (2) years supervisory experience in a hotel/resort environment.
- Experience working in a high pressure, high volume environment.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to use appropriate interpersonal styles and methods to guide employees toward goal achievement.
- Experience developing and conducting employee training.
- Skilled in hiring, development of employee motivational programs, performance evaluations and discipline.
- Strong analytical, organizational, management and computer skills.
