Job Description
The Sr. Manager, Process & Technology Adoption will be responsible for large scale technology and process transformation efforts driven by the department in partnership with the business as well as will lead I&MT department training and communications programs that drive greater cross department collaboration, operational efficiency and continuous improvements to our portfolio service delivery capabilities.
Primary responsibilities will include managing resources who guide the business divisions through process alignment activities such as defining and documenting future processes and impacts and orchestrating activities that help business users prepare to operate using new processes and solutions.
This role requires change management expertise depth and breadth, technology, project delivery, and system integrations acumen as well as experience leading, with excellent collaboration, communication and team building skills. The Sr. Manager, Process & Technology Adoption will engage with all aspects of IT as well as with key stakeholders in I&MT and across divisions across a range of levels including senior V.P. and S.V.P., to help coach them and ensure their needs are understood and they are supported through transformation programs or priority initiatives such as CRM. This role must be comfortable working in and providing structure and direction in a fast-paced and agile environment as well as the ability to be both strategic and detailed to guide junior team members on how to shape and deliver quality outputs.
- Identify projects and initiatives across the I&MT portfolio that require change management services and manage ongoing demand of ad-hoc needs.
- Understand a wide range of cross functional and cross Division business process to help facilitation of shaping future state processes to the solution capabilities
- Educate and guide business and I&MT leaders on how to most effectively deploy change readiness and adoption strategies, frameworks and techniques to maximize business value realization.
- Manage and train I&MT resources on approaches and tools for process alignment efforts and change adoption/ communication of the recommended approaches and templates.
- Serve as a quality assurance checks on portfolio projects related to process and technology change adoption and provide implementation recommendations. This includes orchestrating change readouts, incorporating feedback mechanisms into programs, facilitating discussions on post go-live metrics and championing business readiness needs.
- Engage with business stakeholders to surface business challenges/needs and overlay technology options that could potentially help solve pain-points This responsibility will be a highly consultative one which will require bringing stakeholder groups together, facilitating problem and/or priority alignment, and driving comprehensive buy in to proposed solution options including potential tradeoffs and risks associated with them.
- Plan, manage and participate in portfolio implementations that have user impacts, working effectively with other project team participants to ensure all parties deliver high quality solutions that meet the business’ requirements. This role includes ensuring team resources are collaborating with technical and functional resources to assure that documented processes and requirements are effectively developed and configured.
