Job Description
- Manage 3rd party Managed Services vendor for support of operational technologies (e.g., non-networked PCs supporting elevators, access control, CCTV, etc.).
- Travel to properties to perform site/bid walks with partners and vendors as needed to ensure quality control of deliverables.
- Collaborate with appropriate I&MT IOS teams to include their latest standards into business unit Basis of Design (BoD) documentation.
- Partner with business units on development and reinvestment projects to ensure alignment with technology and construction requirements (examples include: MPOE/IDF design, Dry Utility planning, Fiber distribution, Low voltage design, Corporate Security CCTV and Access control/IAM, IOT protocols, and environmental controls).
- Proactively identify divisional challenges arising from complying with the BoD and develop solutions to remedy and amend the BoD when appropriate.
- Own and manage all assigned project related tasks and ensure they are prioritized, scheduled, completed on-time, and compliant with specifications.
- Lead as single point of contact for review of fiber service provider’s designs to ensure they meet our long-term requirements, including access, capacity and quality of build.
- Respond to fiber service provider submittals with changes, edits, or approvals within contractual defined timelines to avoid project delays.
- Coordinate with IT Networking and Infrastructure to identify placement of free courtesy lines and/or dark fiber within building MPOEs.
- Attend divisional and cross-divisional update meetings, participate and track project progress, share and evaluate new technologies and efficiencies.
- Assist in reporting project progress and activities to leadership.
- BS/BA or equivalent work experience.
- 3-5 years experience in a similar role preferred.Demonstrated ability to collaborate, create consensus, and engage cross-departmental teams
- Strong written and verbal communication, and strong leadership skills
- Demonstrates attention to detail in both construction and customer experience/satisfaction issues
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong Customer Service background with experience maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
- Ability to multi-task and establish priorities
- 5 years experience in IT Operations
- Efficiency with Google Mail, Drive, Docs and Sheets a plus
