Senior Tax Analyst (Sales and Use Tax)
Job Description
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (experience in related field in lieu of education accepted)
5+ year’s relevant experience in tax research, tax return preparation or public accounting experience, working closely with tax.
Excellent communication skills paired with the ability to work well within team and both internal/external customers.
Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills to include understanding of the following: VLOOKUP, pivot tables, complex/advanced functions.
Working knowledge of SAP (or other ERP framework), manufacturing industry preferred.
Ability to review and document advanced processes to create efficiencies and develop best practices.
Working knowledge of Avalara (Cert Capture and AvaTax)
Multi-task talented with the ability to prioritize workload.
Ability to exercise considerable judgement with tax issues and planning activities.
Strong understanding of sales and use taxation paired with other tax type experiences.
Self-starter, ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
