Position: Acupuncturist
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Reports to: Holistic Health Manager
Position Description: Responsible for providing acupuncture services to clients at Holistic Health.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide acupuncture services to Holistic Health clients as scheduled by the Wellness staff
- Assist clients in understanding the services offered at Holistic Health
- Consult the client about their medical history and the reason for their visit
- Give advice on lifestyle habits such as sleep, exercise, and diet to improve client’s physical health
- Create a plan of care that focuses on the client’s overall health and wellbeing
- Help with payments for Holistic Health products and services
- Clean and organize treatment rooms between clients; includes sterilizing equipment and replenishing supplies
- Comply with HIPAA privacy requirements and processes
- Coordinate with the Holistic Health Manager to ensure all tasks are being completed

- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and networking skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Understand personnel and compliance records management; able to maintain confidentiality
- Able to employ flexibility and creativity in the face of ambiguity and challenge
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Licensed by the state of Iowa in Acupuncture
