Production Supervisor

SUMMARY The Production Supervisor position is responsible for providing leadership and direction to team members with a focus on safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement for company’s various product lines including, but not limited to,Walk-in Van and Truck Bodies JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Planning and organizing production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products to customers. Monitoring production processes and equipment to identify and resolve issues that could impact production schedules. Ensuring that safety protocols are followed and that employees are trained and equipped to work safely in a manufacturing environment. Assigning tasks and delegating responsibilities to production staff, including providing coaching and feedback to ensure high levels of performance. Collaborating with other departments, including engineering, quality control, and maintenance, to ensure that production operations run smoothly. Maintaining accurate production records and reports, including inventory levels, quality control measures, and production output. Identifying opportunities to improve production processes, reduce waste, and increase efficiency. Ensuring that products meet quality standards and customer requirements, including conducting inspections and implementing corrective actions. Managing production staff, including scheduling shifts, hiring and training employees, and enforcing company policies and procedures. Communicating regularly with management to provide updates on production schedules, staffing needs, and performance metrics
