Engineering and R&D intern - Mechanical Design (12-month, Fall Start)

Development of 3D models and 2D drawings of parts, assemblies, and final products using SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor. Contributing to development and revision of material specifications for raw materials and parts. Revision of the database of the seismic calculations for the instrument transformers, execution of the seismic calculations in accordance with IEEE 693 and internal procedures. Quality control of Bill of material (BOM) for the instrument transformer to ensure correct Part number, material descriptions, quantity, material type, MRP type. Revision of the material descriptions in SAP to comply with internal standards.
