Strategic Procurement Specialist

Develop and Implement Commodity strategies to generate value and to minimize the overall cost and ensure reliable on-time supply of materials in the required quality to create a strong competitive advantage. Drive Supplier Management process including contract negotiation, qualification, selection, evaluation, classification, development and claim management, to develop the best suppliers and ensure transparency. Independently prepare and carry out negotiations with suppliers around the world. Lead, implement or support complex supply chain projects for risk mitigation and future sustainability. Understand in detail the cost structure of their commodity in detail for cost control and negotiations and identify potential improvements. Implement and ensure usage of defined methods, processes and systems (e.g., compliant to Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process, Procurement Guidelines, IT systems and compliance). Align strategies and ensure close cooperation with internal customers such as Engineering, R D, Production, Quality, as well as with other global factories.
