This is an open pool posting and applicants will be contacted only if a suitable position becomes available. Pool may be used to fill vacancies for the Fall 2025 - Summer 2026. This pool expires 05/31/2026. Applicants wishing to remain in this pool past 05/31/2026, must reapply at that time. Position Summary: The School of Teacher Education at the University of Northern Colorado invites applications for part-time faculty positions as we build our capacity to offer quality instruction to all students. Part-time faculty hired will become vital members of the School’s nationally recognized teacher preparation programs, committed to the preparation of culturally responsive education. These positions are filled semester by semester based on the needs of the different programs. Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree or doctoral degree in relevant, and appropriate area; Successful PK-12 teaching experience with culturally and linguistically diverse students. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge and prior experience teaching a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses related to ESL/CLD: second language acquisition, foundations of linguistics for educators, academic language and literacy instruction for diverse learners, methods and assessment approaches for CLD students, CLD field experiences/practicum (with supervision); Experience with TESOL/CLD practicum supervision; Experience or knowledge in differentiated CLD instruction, second language and academic language/literacy instruction and assessment.
