Worldline NZ, the leader in New Zealand’s electronic payments ecosystem, is embarking on one of the most significant modernisation programmes in our history — replacing our legacy payment switch with a modern, cloud‑based platform. This multi‑year transformation is mission‑critical to keeping New Zealand’s payments running smoothly, securely, and at scale.
We’re looking for a high‑impact Senior Project Manager to lead this complex, high‑visibility programme across technology, operations, security, product, and our extensive network of external partners.
What you’ll lead
- The end‑to‑end upgrade and migration of our national payment switch
- Multi‑stream delivery across infrastructure, cloud, security, and business change
- Executive‑level governance, Steering Committee leadership, and decision forums
- Vendor, global stakeholder, and customer engagement (banks, telcos, terminal providers)
- Phased customer migrations requiring near‑zero downtime
- Risk, compliance, PCI DSS alignment, and operational readiness
What you bring
- 10+ years delivering large‑scale, mission‑critical technology programmes
- Experience in payments, banking, cloud migration, or real‑time transaction systems
- Strong stakeholder influence across technical and executive audiences
- Excellent communication, commercial acumen, and leadership under pressure
- Desirable: PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications
