Key Responsibilities:
We are looking for an Indirect Tax Knowledge Management Trainee to support our Knowledge Manager and play a key role in how VAT/Indirect Tax knowledge is maintained and shared across our network.
In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders, ensuring that VAT legislative changes, internal summaries and knowledge assets are up to date, well-documented, and easily accessible.
Draft the yearly VAT Legislative Changes Summary.
Maintain VAT knowledge documentation:
Archive VAT summaries and newsletters, ensure correct recording and naming conventions.
Upload summaries and signed agreements to the relevant sites/trackers (e.g. VAT News).
Manage trackers and data quality:
Record summaries, initiatives, invoices and feedback in dedicated trackers.
Perform recurring checks on established processes and data accuracy.
Coordinate stakeholders:
Send reminders to Country Specialists and member firms (e.g. for country feedback, VAT Guide reviews, pending queries).
Update the SharePoint site and trackers with changes in the Country Specialist community and initiatives.
Requirements:
• Background: Ongoing university studies in Hungary (Preferably 1 more year with student status)
• Technical skills and experience:
You are available to work at least 25 hours/week
You have good computer skills and familiarity with Excel
You are a team player at heart and able to work individually as well
You can handle large amounts of data
You possess effective communication skills
• Languages: Strong written and spoken English language knowledge
• Attitude: Precision, reliability, client-oriented mindset, and proactive personality
Advantages:
